Limited edition print from Mike Coles’s Over The Hills And Back For Tea Exhibition at 5th Base Gallery in London, 24th-29th August 2018. This was an exhibition of the 56 images from the book and playing cards. Each one in a different format with an ornate border.
All prints are on 310gsm fine art etching soft textured paper, signed, numbered & stamped with hand-torn edges.
They measure 43cms x 32cms, are unframed, mailed flat and securely packaged.
The rhyme on this one reads:
“Nine men from whence afar hath come,
They pick of nose, they scratch of bum;
In scarlet robe and hats so tall,
They dance a PARLIAMENTARY ball,
These men from whence afar hath come.“
