Limited edition print from Mike Coles’s Over The Hills And Back For Tea Exhibition at 5th Base Gallery in London, 24th-29th August 2018. This was an exhibition of the 56 images from the book and playing cards. Each one in a different format with an ornate border.
All prints are on 310gsm fine art etching soft textured paper, signed, numbered & stamped with hand-torn edges.
They measure 43cms x 32cms, are unframed, mailed flat and securely packaged.
The rhyme on this one reads:
“Have you met the pancake lady?
Down by Kilburn Lane?
She’ll sneak into your breakfast,
And she’ll sneak right out again;
She puts POISON in those pancakes,
But you mustn’t take offence,
You can feed them to the pigeons,
She does two for sixty pence.“
