Description

The CHURCH OF BLEEDING GUMS was frequently used as political camouflage. This is a reprint of a poster used for a communist meeting in a Cambridge bookshop in 1951. It’s interesting to note that Hicks and Homer were the code names of Guy Burgess and Donald Maclean, the infamous Cambridge spies.

Stamped & signed, printed with archival inks on antique fine art 210gsm paper.
Paper size 483mm x 330mm.
